The Madame’s Bone Oracle Reading 04.02.20

The Spirits chose AIR, EBB, and STRANGE from The Madame’s Bone Oracle today.

I’ll break down the meaning of each bone, and then we’ll discuss them as a group.

AIR: Learning, Creating, Intuition, Psyche, Mental State

EBB: Inaction, Recede, Release, Backwards

STRANGE: Strangers, strange situations or places – people, places, things you don’t know, Without

After yesterday’s bout of anxiety and the release of it with our “collective valve release”, I was excited to get to today’s reading! My channel was clear for our Ancestors, Guides, Spirits, Angels, Energies and Entities that work with us, collectively as a whole, to guide my hand to the message that we all need to hear today. Today’s message is about our thought processes, and changing some of those patterns. The element of AIR corresponds to our psyche and mental processes – how we think, how we process information, how we use our faculties to learn and for inspiration. It’s funny that people don’t question their own thoughts, and where they come from as much as they should. I’m not talking about questioning a decision you’re making. I mean HOW we think, and WHERE those thoughts are coming from. An article made the rounds recently on social media about our inner voice, whether yours “speaks” aloud in your own voice, a different voice outside of your own (or multiple voices) – it’s all of the above for me (I don’t know if it’s safe to admit that) – or whether you “hear” one at all. It created a lot of discussions, and I found it incredibly interesting. About 15 years ago, in a therapy session, my therapist said that I was a creative thinker with lots of visual cues, detail and emotion. He mentioned that his thoughts were more abstract – he likened it to black and white stick figures vs Michelangelo. I had never thought of that before. I just assumed everyone saw things in their heads like I did – as if watching a movie play out. I was completely aware that people think ABOUT things differently and feel differently about them, but I thought the actual process was similar. It may have been the first time I thought about HOW I thought instead of WHAT I thought, and WHERE those thoughts come from. AIR is challenging us today to consider this – our thoughts – and how we hold on to our beliefs about ourselves and the world around us. Where did those thoughts come from, and why are they so important to us? Is it time for a change?  When we combine AIR with EBB, it is telling us it is time to let go of some of those old thoughts, patterns, and beliefs. Here’s an example: You hold the belief that you are unworthy of praise. Where did that come from? Did you grow up in a household that held the belief that praise breeds arrogance? Was humbleness valued over confidence? Could what you have believed and thought for so long be untrue? Could it just be what someone else held as truth, but you aren’t required to agree? Yes! It’s time to rework that pathway from Point A – someone praises you, to Point B – you dismiss it and judge yourself unworthy. Divert that path to the scenic route Point C – where praise is warranted and accepted. Let go of that belief (EBB) and see what else changes for you. STRANGE tells us that releasing the old patterns leaves us open to new ideas and ways of thinking. Question. Analyze. Question some more. If necessity is the “mother of invention”, then Curiosity is the “father”. There couldn’t be a better time than right now to be open to new ways of doing things, inside ourselves as well as outside ourselves, alone and collectively. We are undergoing a metamorphosis as a whole. Let’s use our cocoon time to break chains and grow wings.
