The Madame’s Bone Oracle Reading 04.28.20

The Spirits chose BIRTH, FAMILIAR, and FLOW from The Madame’s Bone Oracle.

BIRTH: Beginning, Go Forward, Future

FAMILIAR: Family member, home, friend, co-worker – people, places, things you know

FLOW: Action, Receive, Trust, Forwards

Today the Spirits are telling us to go backwards to go forwards – get back to our roots and begin again. The combination of BIRTH and FAMILIAR lead to our childhood. While some may not like to revisit that time, and others would love to go back, we all have things we can learn from the past that will serve us going forward (FLOW). Today is about innocence – being who you truly were before the world told you differently. You know how kids will sing their little hearts out, unaware of the imperfections that others will point out later? That’s where we need to get back to today. Try to recall one carefree day from your childhood, when you believed that anything was possible – when you didn’t worry about your weight, or bills, or taking care of others. What dream did you have back then that can be planted like a seed to grow into a version that would benefit your life now? Here’s an example: When I was little, I wanted to be a Solid Gold Dancer when I grew up. Remember that show- those gorgeous ladies showing off their talents in latex and high heels? My days of heels and latex may be numbered, but what did that dream represent to me? Confidence (FLOW). Freedom of expression (FLOW). Body Positivity. Doing what you were born to do (FLOW). While I understand that those particular women that I admired may have had their own struggles that my 7 year old self was unaware of, their lack of self-consciousness in their bodies and the pride they seemed to exude in their talent was mesmerizing. How can I take that message and apply it to my current life to FLOW forward with a new dream? Analyze your childhood dream in the same manner: What symbolism can you glean from it? How can you apply that message to your life now? Our jaded, disillusioned adult minds can have a bit of a rough time reconnecting with that innocent, childhood dream, but in the words of the Great and Powerful Stevie Nicks ~ the dream was never over…the dream was only lost…
