The Madame’s Bone Oracle Reading 07.10.20

The Spirits chose FLORA, SEEKER, and AIR from The Madame’s Bone Oracle this morning.

FLORA: Plant allies, healing through herbs, Growth cycle

SEEKER: Self, Ego, Querent, Within

AIR: Learning, Creating, Intuition, Psyche, Mental State

Today’s message is about mental growth. Life presents experiences that we the SEEKERs learn (AIR) and grow (FLORA) from. The struggles highlight where we may be stagnant in our growth. The struggles make us exercise our mental faculties for problem solving skills that we can then add to our repertoire. Growth isn’t always pretty. Growth can be ugly and painful. It’s like medicine that tastes horrible but saves your life. You know I like a good example, right? So think of yourself as a potted plant (FLORA). When newly planted, you’re comfortable in a 6” pot. You’re nourished and watered and begin to grow bigger. Before you know it, your roots are getting cramped in that pot that you once found so comfortable. But you stay there because it’s what you know, and in time your stem starts to decay and you lose a few leaves. Before you know it, you’re wilted and left wanting. You suffer until some kind soul replants you into a bigger pot where you’ll have room to grow. They nourish you back to health, you begin to flourish, and you’ve learned that the next time your roots start feeling cramped, it’s time to move on. Guess who the “kind soul” who replants you is? It’s YOU. No one else can do that for us. Others can tend to us, share some water, and lend a little light, or they can pluck our petals, parch our soil, and fertilize us with their bullshit. But the growth and replanting is done by us alone. Have you stayed too long in your pot and cramped your roots for the devil you know? Is it time to pull up roots and replant somewhere new (the devil you don’t know)? What have you learned in the process that will benefit you in the future? The Spirits are assuring us that the growth is always worth the struggle.
